Oregon Pinot Blanc
In 1990, upon her return from studies in Burgundy, Winemaker Luisa Ponzi was determined to take advantage of the Willamette Valley's ideal climate for Pinot Blanc. The largest Ponzi vineyard site – Aurora – was the perfect match of soil and elevation for this special varietal, which is made in the Ponzi tradition of low yields and gentle handcrafting.
Ponzi Pinot Blanc is whole cluster pressed, fermented in stainless steel and French oak barrels – depending on the vintage – and bottled early to retain the beautiful, fresh fruit. Similar to its Pinot relatives, it is a vibrant and versatile wine, ideal with most dishes or for any occasion.
