The Founders Room can accommodate 50-100 guests in a space that boasts indoor & outdoor features.
With your glass of Pinot noir in hand, move farther into The Laurelwood and transport yourself back in time to The Founders Room. The high ceiling curves gently over you, mimicking the oak staves of a wine barrel. The room is flooded with natural light from the large glass windows that encourage guests to descend into the Vineyard Green outside, or to soak in the southern view over the pond from the Founder’s Terrace. The heart of The Founders Room, however, is the grand fireplace. Elegant and inviting, it was designed as a tribute to Founders, Dick & Nancy Ponzi, whose commitment to family, community, and beauty is ever-present. Around such a fire, memories are made and good wine is poured.
There are two terraces that wrap around The Laurelwood’s exterior: the Founders Terrace on the south and the Pearl Terrace on the west. These open spaces allow guests to be part of the view, not just observers of it. Large glass doors permit a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor space, so you are never separated from the endless views.
