Since its founding in 1970, Ponzi Vineyards has grown and produced a vibrant, food-friendly, dry Riesling worthy of cellaring. Akin to the Alsatian vineyards of France, the cool climate of Oregon’s North Willamette Valley provides ideal conditions for this noble varietal to thrive, while our local Laurelwood soil imparts characteristics to create a wine that is distinctively Oregon.
“ Floral aromatics of apple blossom, honeysuckle and jasmine lead to kafir lime, candied mandarin, star jasmine and sea salt. The palate is bright and focused with flavors of honeycomb, star fruit and asian pear with a hint of powdered sugar and lime zest.”
–Winemaker Luisa Ponzi
